Mission & Vision

The mission of Refuge CMI is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. 

The vision of Refuge CMI is to create an opportunity for churches and individuals to fulfill the Great Commission more effectively in their communities, and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. 

Part of our mission's focus is to
encourage the body of Christ to
reach out to their neighbors,
family, and friends who are struggling
 physically, emotionally and spiritually;
and to encourage  pastors and leaders
 as they minister to their
congregations and communities.

To Heal the Hurting! 

The second part of our mission's focus is to
equip pastors, churches and organizations
 in areas where we minister with  leadership
training, equipment and supplies,
so they can more effectively reach
the needy in their spheres of influence.  



To Equip the Body of Christ!

The third part of our mission's focus, after Encouraging and Equipping, is to Engage the church to take action to reach out beyond the walls of their church, to the lost in their communities, their region,  and the world; by supporting, sending, and going.
Greg Laurie said "The commission of the church is not to wait for the world to show up.  Rather, the commission of the church is to go to the world." 

To Discover and Fulfill Their Destiny!

We are able to accomplish our 3-part mission  only through the Empowerment of the Holy Spirit in our lives and ministry;   along with Team Refuge which is made up of our team of financial supporters, prayer supporters, board of directors, staff, and team members.  Thank God for His Spirit that empowers us to do this ministry, and who empowers YOU to be a witness to your family, friends, co-workers, and the community where you live.
